Pediatric Institute (PED.I.) is a private
center, that was founded in 2005 by Eliza Maglari, a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. PED.I.'s objective
is to provide qualitative and specialized services (occupational, speech,
oral-motor, physio, sensorimotor therapies, special education,
socialization and psychological support) to children aged 0-18 years, psychological support and education
to parents, along with continuing education
to professionals in the areas of health and rehabilitation.
PED.I. has as a standard similar pediatric centers in
the USA, where quality of services in a well-equipped facility and in a friendly and
accommodating environment is a priority.
The staff of PED.I. is chosen based on
the principles of sound academic education and clinical experience,
excellent communication with parents and other members of the child's
team, along with the principle of viewing the child as a whole. The members
of our team are university or college graduates with specialization in various therapeutic approaches
and professional licences in their area
of expertise. Our philosophy is that the proper evaluation and treatment for each child depends on team effort in which parents have an active and synergistic role.
